WHAT WE BELIEVE AND PREACH

As a church and a fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ, we cherish a number of key beliefs.

THE BIBLE

The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.
(2 Timothy 3:15-17)

THE TRUE GODHEAD

The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives; it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.
(1 John 5:7, Romans 1:20)

MAN IS CREATED IN GOD'S IMAGE

So God made man like his Maker.
Like God did God make man;
Man and maid did he make them.
(Genesis 1:27)

REDEMPTION

…but it was not the blood of goats and calves.
No, he took his own blood, and with it he,
by himself, made sure of our eternal salvation.
(Hebrews 9:11-12)

SALVATION

For if you tell others with your own mouth that Jesus Christ is your Lord, and believe in your own heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
(Romans 10:9-10)

HOLY SPIRIT

If you love me, obey me; and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Comforter, and he will never leave you.
(John 14:16-17)

FAITH

Because of his kindness you have been saved through trusting Christ. And even trusting is not of yourselves;
it, too, is a gift from God.
(Ephesians 2:8)

BAPTISM

For sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ; through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered.
(Romans 6:3)

THE LORD'S SUPPER

For every time you eat this bread and drink this cup you are re-telling the message of the Lord’s death, that he has died for you.
Do this until he comes again.
(1 Cor. 11:23-28)

THE HOLY SPIRIT, BAPTISM AND GIFTS

And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in languages they didn`t know, for the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.
(Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:1-12)

THE CHURCH

We who believe are carefully joined together with Christ as parts of a beautiful, constantly growing temple for God.
(Ephesians 2:14-22)

BLESSED HOPE

And now, what about the coming again of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our being gathered together to meet him?
(2 Thessalonians 2:1; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

THE NEW JERUSALEM

There shall be nothing in the city which is evil; for the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him. And they shall see his face; and his name shall be written on their foreheads. And there will be no night there – no need for lamps or sun – for the Lord God will be their light; and they shall reign forever and ever.
(Revelation 22:3-5)
